Minntronix Announces 50 Amp Micro CT With Best in Class…
The new Minntronix Micro CT improves converter output efficiency by giving switchmode power supply designers the ability to sense the exact time to switch from charge to discharge. The MT72700 series helps customers reach 90% efficiency goals in various flyback designs. By replacing the silicon solution with the Micro CT output efficiency gains of 3-5% were achieved with no net cost impact to the circuit. The Micro CT is accurate over a temperature range of -40° to 85° C and from 20 kHz to 500 kHz making it suitable for a variety of applications. At only 20 mm by 14.8 mm the Micro CT consumes little circuit board real estate. Primary Current: 50 Amps Peak Operating Current: 35 Amps Primary DCR: 115 microohms typ Secondary DCR: 615 milliohms typ (1:100Turns) Temp range -40° to 85° C Custom turns ratios available. Standard turns ratios from 1:25 to 1:200 The Micro CT is available now. Please call 888.244.3173 for samples.

CPV experts to gather in Seville on November 18-19 to…
Experts to gather in Seville on November 18-19 to discuss how to lower costs, establish the track record and secure financing. Seville, Spain ( PRWeb UK / PRWEB ) July 2, 2010 — With more than 20 MW installed to date, CPV’s commercialisation is firmly underway. It has been predicted that the CPV market will soar in value to over a quarter of a billion dollars by 2014 leading to exponential growth of 6GW by 2020. To address the critical issues that the industry will face on the way to commercialisation, CPV Today will be bringing together over 300 industry players in Seville on November 18-19 at the 3rd Concentrated Photovoltaics Summit EU. As its advantages and capabilities are starting to be widely acknowledged, CPV continues to install more megawatts and secure additional projects. Guascor Foton, the leader in CPV’s installed MW will discuss the technology’s competitiveness for large scale-projects. Other important initiatives that will establish the track record and technology transference milestones such as Masdar-ISFOC in Abu Dhabi and the Apollon project in Italy, will be explored at the summit.
