LOS GATOS, CA–(Marketwire – December 22, 2009) – Audible Magic Corporation has added nine institutions of higher learning to its ever-growing customer base. Four universities and five community colleges have adopted the CopySense appliance to combat the unauthorized transfer of copyrighted content across their networks. Use of the CopySense appliance enables compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) requiring colleges and universities to help curb illegal use of their peer-to-peer (P2P) networks.
